When I click the email button, nothing is happening, or it tries to open some other email app?

In Chrome (or your browser), go to Settings, and then Apps, and then Default Apps. Next, click on Email and select your preferred mail app.

You may find it helpful to copy yourself when sending reports – this will ensure you can reference the details of the report and when it was sent.
