Condos and Townhomes

CMAsnap locates properties primarily through the address.  But condos and townhomes often have unusual address.  Do you use a hashtag (#), do you not, do you include “unit” or not… you get the idea.   Unfortunately, these slight differences matter.

Tax records aren’t standardized to the MLS, but for property identification they are the ultimate source of truth. This is especially true with condominiums.

While this challenge is somewhat common with condos and townhomes, the process works anytime you’re not finding the property you’re looking for-

  1. Go to the residing Central Appraisal District website and look up the property.
  2. Copy the exact street address (five digit zip code ony).
  3. Paste it into CMAsnap’s new report form.

If the property you’re looking for is incorrect- or if you’re searching Condos, when the first unit comes up,

  1. Click on more results
  2. Scroll through until you find the correct unit.
  3. Click Create report.
  4. Review the Property form for accuracy
  5. Click Submit.
